"Masha and the Bear"

“Masha and the Bear” cartoon became the most popular one in the world. It is on the 6th place by views on the youtube, it was translated into 25 languages and gained love of millions of children in more than 120 countries. This cartoon is a real breakthrough in Russian animation. Being a successor of the Soviet animation, it continues to bring up children with help of traditional values.

The history of a mischievous blond girl and the bear borrowed from a fairytale, made the world affected to this cartoon. This charming duet is the most loved one by children from the USA to Indonesia.

However, no one of the cartoon authors expected such popularity. So what is the secret of this “Russian phenomenon”? It is really simple though: the cartoon touches common topics everyone can relate to, so you don`t have to be a Russian to understand “Masha and the Bear”.
